Spring break is no doubt awesome… but sometimes just for kids. Not all of us have the luxury of taking time off when the warm weather rushes in. Once more, if you work from home, having your little ones lurking around can make you crazy and fall way behind schedule. If you are someone who doesn’t want their springtime vacation to be filled with screen time 24/7, these are great spring break camps to consider in Summerville for 2022! If you have a little one who can’t get enough of running around, then the Charleston Soccer Club spring break camp is a must! The camp runs from April 11th – April 14th at 9 – 12 pm, so it is just enough time to get your work done early so you can head out on a family staycay getaway in the afternoon! After all, you don’t want them gone all day. Spend time with them while they're young; it goes by too quickly. The camp is located at 130 Walden Ridge Road in the Summerville Complex, featuring eight fields with lots of room to stretch out. Once more, $175 is a small price to pay for your sanity! If you want your child to have fun, while also creating some super cool artwork and learning basic skills, the Nailed It spring break camp is a unique find. The mini Fri-YAY camp is on Friday, April 15th from 9 am to 1 pm, and offers projects for ages six and up. Each child will get to choose their very own project when they arrive, have a midday snack, and take their treasures home with them. If you are looking for something a little more “meaty,” then the Weekly Spring Break Youth Camps are a must. Running Monday thru Thursday from 9 am to 1 pm, it also caters to the six-and-up crowd. Participants will have a morning snack to get their creativity flowing and will complete a project each day to show off their talent! The beginner fencing camp runs Monday to Thursday 1 – 4 pm and it teaches the art of attacking and defending in a casual and fun atmosphere. The Dinosaurs camp is perfect morning fun for ages 3 – 7. It runs from 9 am to 12 pm and all the games and activities are centered around the love of dinosaurs. Your little one will have a roaring good time! From a Bubble dance party to a glow party, it is all-party, all morning for ages 3 – 8 from 9 am to 11:30 am. Or, send them zipping with the Kids Zip and Rock Climbing Outdoor Adventure Camp for ages 6 to 10. It is just two days, the 11th and the 13th, but they are two spectacularly exciting ones. With many more camps to choose from, find the one that makes your child sing (or dance) and sign them up today! Spring break is a great break for the kids, but not so much for you if you can’t take full days from work. Sign them up at camp for a couple of days to take the pressure off of you.
